went on a vegas trip with frances, randy, and met up with grace since she lives there now and got plastered the first night. I usually take pepcid or antacid to settle my stomach but that night i ate three slices of pizza from papa johns and pregame at the club. i was already feeling icky from eating the pizza (my stomach was not feeling it) but i continued to drink all night even though i promised myself (and anyone who was listening) i would have a max of 2.5 drinks. i suffered the next day. it was like the time when i drank a lot on an empty stomach. I just could not stop feeling nauseated and so the whole night i was dry heaving or actually throwing up everything i could. i had a ten minute nap then tried eating, to end up throwing it up. i eventually had a 30 minute nap by around 6ish the next night and decided to go out. the loud music kept me preoccupied from my uneasy stomach and finally that night i rest. i couldn't believed i was up more than 38 hours.

i feel like this is a good enough reason to quit drinking...for now. or to never binge drink again!! ahh my age is finally catching up on me.
one of the strongest minded person I know who raised 9 children on her own, able to meet a few great-grandchildren, fought the last few years of her life with Alzheimer's, and always filled my belly with food when I visited as a child. Without her, my father wouldn't be the man he is today who pushes me to be independent like he was. I'm just so overwhelmed. Although the language barrier kept us from having a real conversation, she could always put a smile on my face.

jan 31 friday: went to anazarry's karaoke bday party celebration. sang and dance my ass of in front of a bunch of her friends was fun

feb 1 saturday: went to get brunch with anazarry at jenny's work-market broiler. everything was delicious and was paid for by jenny afterwards. hung out with anazarry at her place then headed home to get ready to meet up with frances. went to dinner with frances and her sisters from a frat and had my very first hennchata (hennessy and horchata) it was delicious.

feb 2 sunday: hung out with steven. we went to go eat ramen at daikokuya then dessert at mj's cafe. had some delicious mochi waffles and boba. then watched a disappointing superbowl game and headed back to san marcos

feb 3 monday: steven had a class to go to then we went to eat mama kat's. packed up and picked up kevin, steven's classmate to drop him off at the airport. then we headed to vegas. end up getting there around 7pm and checked into caesar's palace. got ready to go out and headed out to xs. over the summer, this guy i exchanged info with got us 8 comp bottles at xs. luckily there was a lot of girls in our group so we had no problem with that. grace also meet up with us and we had a blast dancing to dj rl grime. i got absolutely trashed the first night and had missing memories of the night.

feb 4 tuesday: dropped steven off to his convention and went over to tour grace's new place. then we went to todai for lunch and caught up with everything that is going on in each other's life. went back to her place to get ready to meet up with everyone while she had to get ready for work. picked steven up and went to go check into excalibur then had lunch/dinner with his friends at pho kim do. went back to the hotel and ending up being more hungry so we got food at the foodcourt then got ready for the club. we were given comp bottle service again at 1oak and lesser people came. steven ends up bumping into his professors getting into the same club. i've never been to 1oak but i hope not to go back anytime soon lol it was a very ratchet night but then it was the only few clubs open on a tuesday night.

feb 5 wednesday: grace picked me up from excalibur and we went to get lunch at a thai restaurant. i was unable to eat much but the portion was also gigantic. then we went shopping at ulta and then she had to drop me off at palazzo since she had work. went back to the hotel and took a nap before heading out to the club. we met up with tk, the promoter, and had a snack at a restaurant before heading over to light. steven was buzzed from the bottle of sake tk was serving him before heading inside the club lol so  as he drank more inside he was having a blast. the club, light was beautiful with cirque de soleil dancers doing tricks above us. our table was amazing and it was a nice club to end our 3 days in vegas lol now i'm excited to go back in the summer for dayclubs!

feb 6 thursday: had to drive back to upland then to san marcos for steven to pick up his car. drove in the worst rain ever. i swear i thought i was gonna die because my windshield wipers sucked balls. now back to reality :[
nila came down to visit last weekend with her boyfriend cameron. since we are short on money they came over, i fed them lunch, and we head out to balboa park. balboa park has 14 different museums in one area and we decided on the science one. it ended up being more for children with multiple things to play with but i find it amusing and interesting. we then got hungry enough to head to valley view casino for the free lobster buffet! luckily, i was given a complimentary dinner for 2 at the buffet from karen and it was nila and cameron's first time (first timers get free buffet when they sign up for a players card). we planned to meet at the buffet because we knew it would be a long line so nila and cameron went to sign up as steven and i waited in line. sadly, we were told that they were giving away dinner "tickets" for spots to eat in the buffet rather than have a line and that it was all given away already. but again luckily, that complimentary dinner ticket that was given to me allowed us to get a table and so we were given a buzzer to wait for our table. mai and lino joined us as we waited to be seated assuming that we would get seated soon. after 40 minutes we began to feel antsy so  we asked how long it will be with the buzzer. the lady that was taking them told us it usually is a 3 hour wait...we were very upset and started to think of an option b for dinner. another 20 minutes go by and to our surprise we get seated. the gentleman that was helping us earlier told us that he knew that we were waiting for a table and was helping us and so we get seated and enjoyed our wonderful dinner. i ate so much haha it was delicious and i want some more just thinking about it. it was a nice day :]
23rd. left work went straight to steven's. no traffic, yay!

24th. went to get lunch with the family but my father had work so i did acye sushi with my mother and brothers. went to sake 2 me and was an utter disappointment. head back to steven's to get ready to go to lisa's apartment. enjoyed dinner and fun games at lisa's with joined company of jeff, evelyn, derek, and friends of lisa's.

25th. opened presents with steven's family and had breakfast. then went to lunch with my family at a vietnamese broken rice restaurant with aunt mai, her kids, joan, her kids, jimmy, nancy, their kid, and my grandpa. seeing my cousins with kids make me want a kid...ever so slightly lol but that'll wait. then we headed over to aunt tammy's to have the children receive more presents! then headed back to steven's to enjoy a wonderful cooked christmas meal. after, steven and i invited our siblings to go watch frozen together since my brothers and i got free tickets as gifts for christmas. we were also given free drinks for some complications with the theater we were suppose to sit at so merry christmas to us! the movie was very pleasant even though the singing was a bit much lol

26th. had to head home to go back to work. was planning to go clubbing in oc for a friend's birthday but got canceled but i arranged to hang out with jenny who lived out there so i can crash her place. decided to still see her and had a nice late dinner (her treat for getting off work late) at bj's then watched ratatouille at her place then knocked out.

27th. got lunch with jenny and her roommate, darwin. met up with kat to go eat at a shabu shabu that was too "japanese" for us haha thinking it was going to be like jazz cat (chinese style). then had boba and headed back to sd to work. steven was still in the ie so i had to think of something to keep me busy over the weekend. texted karen to see if she wanted to do something saturday but she ends up asking me to go out tonight. feeling exhausted but super lonely, i headed over to karen's. ended up meeting with a lot of people to go to a bar in pacific beach, tavern. karen knows everyone in pb so she was able to get us in free of charge and no line. also she knew the bartenders who hooked it up for everyone buying drinks. which meant, i, who could rarely say no to free drinks, drank way too much and got trashed. threw up everywhere after the bar and continued to do so at karen's as i crash at her apartment.

28th. felt like shit. worst hangover ever. had ramen for lunch. still felt like shit. napped a bit while watching the movie the world's end at karen's. still felt like shit. ate sushi for dinner and then headed over to karen's friends house for a housewarming party. drank as little as possible having to play beer games in red cups and then headed back to karen's. finally went home and crashed

29th. still felt like shit. cleaned up the apartment for steven when he gets home. he doesn't go home, i'm super bummed.

 30th. had a full 8 hour shift but come home to see that steven made me dinner. he even bought wine and dessert. he made an all time favorite food for me, pasta. it was delicious and it made up for him not coming home on sunday

 31st. no work yay! went grocery shopping for the double date dinner planned for us with asa and heidi. bummed it until it was time to go. asa prepared salmon for us and it was steven's first time that he knew of eating it. surprisingly, he liked it and told me he was willing to eat it again! then we enjoyed each other's company until the new year talking about random things and steven and i finally saw the unrated version of robin thicke's blurred lines video. popped champagne at midnight and had my new years kiss.

 1st. had no work again, steven made roast beef for dinner with yorkshire pudding. it was amazing. i love this man who loves to cook. between lunch and dinner, we watched the lone ranger, then after dinner, we watched 2 guns. i partially fell asleep during 2 guns but i enjoyed that movie more than lone ranger.

 2nd & 3rd. work, work, then headed back to upland with steven to help stephanie move out

 4th. had acye korean bbq at oo kook in ktown with steven and steph then helped her move apartments in santa monica. after moving the items, we had to assemble her furniture. heading back to ie after in horrible traffic then had mcdonalds for dinner

 5th. steven and i went to dim sum with my family then packed up the mini fridge and his tv to move up to sd. steven had to drive back down to upland tho because his car was broken and was still at the shop. now i'm here catching my blog up.
