isn't it 2012?

why is there still hardcore racism going on?! maybe i am over-thinking it but it's ridiculous how i've been treated and i definitely believe it's cause of my race (second would be age then sex). as i was shopping in the nordstrom of downtown santa barbara, i was rudely ignored not only by one make-up artist from MAC cosmetics booth but TWO! one has already seen that i was there because she briefly walked by me and helped the next two white ladies that barely took a glimpse at the make-up. wtf. i believe that the only color these make-up artist who were unable to get real jobs as a make-up artist should worry about is green-the color of cash. i'm getting tired of this bullshit at restaurants as well. if you are working in customer service then you fucking just man up and give customer service. it's not like i'm being rude and i've done nothing to make you believe in these stereotypes. i'm so mad. i just want good service no matter what. next server who doesn't give two cents about me will be given a written tip of their poor behavior. no more giving them the minimum 15%. other than that, i had a wonderful time in santa barbara this weekend with my lovely friends-kristina, grace, and sandra. we took PCH the way there which allowed us to pass by malibu. we did a 5 hour winery tour and visited 4 wineries which each had 6-8 different tastings of wine. we were pretty much spent since we had to wake up early to arrive on time for the tour that started at 10:30am. afterwards, we did some R&R then got ready for dinner. we ate at arch rock fish and stayed for happy hour. however, because we were up so early we did not party hard and left the bar scene at 10:30pm. i fell asleep immediately arriving the hotel room. it was easy to wake up the next day at 8am to get ready and have our continental breakfast. we checked out of sandpiper lodge and headed back to downtown santa barbara for a shopping spree. after hours of shopping we headed home. the whole driving wasn't bad even though we had to deal with "carmageddon II" since the 405 was closed. it was a nice mini-vacay and i'm excited for our next adventures :]
